Interaction Design Intern - Mobile / Web
As an Interaction Design Intern you will be working and evolving yuilop’s core mobile applications and web/mobile sites. You should be a creative thinker and doer with the ability to express concepts and prototypes verbally and visually. Creating prototypes of mobile apps/mobile websites and conducting user research studies should be right up your alley. You will work closely with the technology, business and marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation of (interactive) prototypes and user research tests concerning our core applications (iOS/Android/Blackberry), the website and mobile site
- Definition of user experience requirements
- Optimization of content on website/mobile site
Requirements
- 1+ years experience creating digital interfaces for websites or/and mobile apps
- On-the-job experience
- Solid knowledge of graphic design tools: Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks and Illustrator (potentially a prototype tool like Omnigraffle or Axure)
- Commitment to doing great work and excitement for wanting to delight yuilop’s community
- Language skills: fluent English oral and written, as well as good oral Spanish skills
- Being a team player, as well as creative, proactive and results-oriented
- Ambitious, smart, drive to grow and excitement to be part of a young, innovative and fast growing startup
Desirable
- Solid knowledge of front-end development techniques and tools: HTML(5) and CSS(3), JS and PHP
- Experience to quickly create product prototypes and mockup iteratively
