yuilop is looking for a Junior Technical QA  to join its growing team . We’re looking for someone who loves technology, testing and working to ship the best possible product.

Role

• Bug reporting, prioritisation and monitoring
• Understanding of JIRA
• Define on going continuous improvement to Test Engineering processes
• Regularly monitor testing techniques and standards to check best practices are being followed
• Determine QA sign-off readiness within a project.
• Promote strong collaboration between Developers and Quality Engineers to optimise test coverage.
• Ensure team has sustainable processes in place and drives for continuous improvement

you

• 1+ years’ experience in a testing team
• Experience in at least one scripting language (bash, lua, python, etc).
• Strong people management skills with the ability to communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully.
• An appreciation of coding standards, design best practices and a keen desire to apply them.
• Ability to plan manual and automated testing activities
• Killer attention to detail, bags of motivation, a proactive attitude, and the desire to offer up ideas for improvements.
